italki.com is where you can find everything you need to learn a language and italki is a social network and an online resource for learning foreign languages.On italki.com you can get a language partner, find a tutor, or just make friends around the world!! Also you can ask your questions and get answer from italki community, download files like free textbooks, handouts, and learning guides,you can join and create groups to discuss and learn from each other.As for the question why i favor it so much ; there are lots of reasons..First of all I love languages and want to learn as much as i can so considering the main goals of the side i can easily get what i expect. Apart from that i can say that if you love meeting new people and you are interested in their culture, way of life as well as their language no matter which race they belong to ,how they think and live, you should really check it out ;) because there you ll be able to ask any question you like bout simply 'human beings'. To talk bout the benefits i have got from italki i can say that i have learnt the importance of being open-minded and now i love people, languages, different cultures even more !! I have lots of international friends and i keep being in contact with them as much as i can;) There i have chance to help people interested in my culture , language and way of life as much as i can as well as i can ask any question bout theirs in discussion topics and create my own groups.Some of the names of my groups are ;

Piano..By David Noah Abeln...

My soul is the piano, his words are the keys.
Together we compose, the best of symphonies.

How my soul replays his words of the day.
Like a composer writing a play.

I hear the music, as he strikes a key.
an orchestra, is what I see.

Two soul that share a common ground.
a friendship they have found.

What is a piano, without the player.
It's like a soul, without a desire.

It sits alone in the dark,
waiting for someone to light a spark.

A hope or a desire,
waiting for someone to inspire.

To play a song of the heart,
a song of two souls that will never depart



......The Interpretation of The Poem......

I think this poem is about a friendship between two people and how great that friendship is because those two people understand each other perfectly and bring out the best in each other;like best friends. The communication between these 2 friends is like an orchestra because every word is from the heart and soul and it's like a perfect melody. When he says that " what is a piano without the player" like a soul , without desire " means that " what is someone without a real friend", it's someone with all this great potentional inside but has no one to help bring it out like a real friend would. The rest of the poem basically means what I say previously about true friends and bringing out the potential in you. The end means that once you find someone like that , a real friend who will bring out the best potential in you as you bring out the best potential in him or her, then those two souls will never depart because they are so strong in friendship...

...About The Poet...
Davo was diagnosed with leukaemia (CML) when he was 17 years old. A bone marrow transplant successfully put Davo in to remission but years later in 2006, the devasting news that the leukaemia had returned changed everything forever. A second bone marrow transplant was not successful. Davo lost his long fight with leukaemia in May 2007 aged 21.

Odtüfeb :)

Here i want to talk about a student community in Metu ; Odtüfeb !!! Odtüfeb is a group which is consisted of students supporting Fenerbahçe :):) It is the very first group at which I enrolled at Metu :D And as days are passing i see that this is one of the most right decisions I've made so far in all my life:P because day by day I come to realise that it s like a home to me :) From our chief to manager members they are all very friendly and nice people and I feel so safe and happy when I am with them . Odtüfeb is one of the most active and social student community I have seen in Metu so far. It organises activities for its members like going to Kadıköy Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium for watching important matches and gives its member opportunity to support their team :) .It also tries to make organisations like going to Fenerbahçe Ülker' s matches in Ankara together with the other branches of sport. All i m saying is that ; being a Fenerbahçe fan is already an honour and being a member of Odtüfeb is just uncomparable :) Id be glad to see you joining us there ..Hope to see you..:)

A day in a scout camp :)

Dont believe the ones saying 'a scout doesnt freeze..doesnt get hungry or thirsty ot get hurt at all :):) But belive that a scout is a hardworking and active in order to survive in camp area and in a tent :D:P One day in a scout camp begins breakfast ; all the scouts make line and take their breakfast one by one.After that the next activity is one of the biggest events of the day..inspection!! Taking all the precautions against loosing points in inspection the scouts try to make sure that they are going to be the champion of the day :D After inspection is completed its results are announced in a little ceremony and the champion group is given a gift (!) such as a potatoe , tomatoe etc. to put it into a new shape. Following of this little ceremony scouts are given 5 minutes to get ready for 'beach time'..the favourite time of the dayy:D.. 2 hours later they come back to camp area to have their dinner and for education part. Scouts are taught firts-aid, folk dance, chess, instuments etc..And then they prepare little sketches for night-activity . Hours pass quickly and again beach time!! Following of this is is dinner again..and finall; night activities begin and scouts have great time during it; singing songs, display of sketches, going to seaside with a guitar, climbing the mountain..Who knows what might happen in all of a sudden in a scout camp?? :):)

HeRe iS ErSaN iLyAsOvA!!

Ersan İlyasova (born in 1987 in Uzbekistan) is a prospective talented Turkish baskeetball player.When we look at his basketball career as a professional ; no need to go that far because he began to play basketball just 8 years ago.Considering the achievements and improvements he has had so far and he is having right now no doubt one might think that he was absolutely born for playing basketball!! When this young talent began to play he was far behind the players in his generation but Ulker realised this great young talent and gave Ilyasova chance to play ; he used it well and in 2005 he was drafted as 36th by Millwakee Bucks.Despite his sudden leg breaks andf illnesses he never gave up ; he fought with the problem of communication because of not being able to speak English and the disadvantage of being inexperienced in such a place place like NBA at the same time and in the end Ersan won!! He became the key player of Turkish National Team ranking 6 in World Basketball Championship in Japan in 2006.He shone like a star!! After that he stayed one more year in Millwakee Bucks and then transferred to Barcelona .Especially in final serie between Barcelona and Tau Ceramica he reached the top!He is still playing in Barcelona and hoping to go back to NBA to which he s referring as his real home after gaining experience in Europe.Turkish people are proud of him and they expect a lot more from this young possibly the best Turkish talent ever..:):)
